Joshua Jackson, a 6-3, 185-pound wide out in the 2024 recruiting class, is not getting a whole lot of attention compared to some of his counterparts. Still, this 2024 wide receiver recruit is worth taking note.

A 2024 wide receiver recruit that more should take note of

Joshua Jackson is a three-star 2024 wide receiver recruit from St. Augustine High School in New Orense, LA. Jackson’s massive frame and solid ball skills make him a great target for a school like Michigan, since the Wolverines will need him to do some blocking and pass-catching during his four years in Ann Arbor.

According to On3, the University of Michigan is Jackson’s top school, with a 62.4% chance of landing his commitment. The next schools in line for the 2024 wide receiver recruit are Tulane (5.0%), Louisiana (4.3%), and UL-Monroe (3.5%) — all from his home state. Despite Michigan being the only major program in Jackson’s top schools, he has been offered by a number of missive programs, such as Nebraska, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and more.

Jackson would make a solid addition to Michigan’2 2024 class

So far, Jackson has visited with three programs: Texas A&M, LSU, and Alabama. Next weekend, Jackson will visit a fourth school — Michigan — on March 17th with a number of other major football prospects.

Michigan football currently boasts the 11th-ranked class in the nation with seven commits thus far — it also ranks No. 2 in the Big Ten — though the Wolverines have zero wide receivers in the 2024 class to this point. Jackson’s talent and build make him a great fit for Jim Harbaugh’s offensive ideology, and should be getting more attention from media and fans heading into his visit next Friday.
