This weekend, one of the top targets in the Michigan football recruiting class will commit; he is expected to go with the Maize and Blue. This week, Channing Goodwin, a major four-star composite wide receiver target for the Wolverines (and a teammate of Jadyn Davis) picked up two more brand new crystal balls to commit to the University of Michigan — this is another great sign for Michigan football on the recruiting trail.

Michigan football recruiting lands two new crystal balls for 4-star wide receiver Channing Goodwin

Brian Dohn and Michael Clark, two 247 insiders that are 100% accurate on their 2024 recruiting predictions thus far, recently placed crystal balls in favor of Michigan football recruiting to land one of the most sought-after wide receiver targets in the 2024 recruiting class: Channing Goodwin of Providence Day High School in North Carolina. Seeing as his commitment date is set for this Sunday afternoon, this is a great sign for the Wolverines, who are looking to add their first wide receiver to their top-ranked 2024 class.

Channing Goodwin is a four-star recruit from North Carolina, standing at 6-foot-1 and weighing 165 pounds, according to 247 Sports. He is currently ranked as the No. 241 player in the country and the No. 38 wide receiver. Moreover, if he decides to join the Michigan football recruiting team, he already has a connection with the Wolverines’ future starting quarterback.

Jadyn Davis, Michigan’s five-star quarterback in the 2024 class, already has built-in chemistry with Goodwin seeing as they currently play on the same high school offense, meaning this could be a massive addition for the Michigan Wolverines for a number of reasons.
