Later this month, a massive prospect will be coming to Ann Arbor: Dylan Stewart. Seeing as Stewart is the nation’s top-ranked prospect in the 2024 cycle, this spring visit will be a massive opportunity for Jim Harbaugh and his staff to leave a lasting impression and reel in a program-changing talent.

Can Jim Harbaugh pull off a miracle?

It is no secret by now that Jim Harbaugh and his staff did not assemble the best recruiting class in 2023; however, Michigan’s 2024 class is coming along incredibly well early on. Despite it only being March, the Wolverines have a top-5 class with seven commits — five of which are four-star recruits. As we head into the bulk of recruiting season throughout the next few months, Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines will have many more opportunities to land even bigger names.

Dylan Stewart, a 6-5, 235-poud defensive end from Washington DC, would be the biggest pickup for Michigan football recruiting in some time. On Wednesday, Stewart announced his visit schedule for this spring and summer — on it are nine total teams, three of which are in the Big Ten.

Michigan, Penn State, and Ohio State are the three Big Ten schools Stewart intends on visiting throughout the comings months, and to kick things off, Stewart will be heading to Ann Arbor on March 18th. The following weekend, Stewart will head to Columbus to visit the Buckeyes, and two weeks later, State College to visit the Nittany Lions.

The Michigan Wolverines do not appear to be a major player for Stewart as of right now — his top four are South Carolina, Maryland, Ohio State, and Penn State according to On3 — however, Jim Harbaugh may be able to pull off a miracle. If the Wolverines do somehow land Stewart, the 2024 class could end up being the best Michigan fans have seen in quite some time, which would be massive for the Wolverines’ title hopes after 2023.
