Jordan Marshall is one of the top commits in the impressive 2024 Michigan football recruiting class. Recently, the young Michigan football commit shared his thoughts on NIL money and what he plans to do with his eventual earnings during his days in the Maize and Blue. Unlike other national superstar commits, Marshall has some inspiring plans for whatever NIL money he is able to make.

Who is Michigan football commit Jordan Marshall?

In case you don’t already know the name, Jordan Marshall, you will in the next few years. Recently, Marshall committed to Jim Harbaugh’s 2024 recruiting class, which marked a significant turn in the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry. Marshall, one of the top-ranked recruits in Ohio and held a Buckeye offer, yet chose the Wolverines instead.

His commitment has played a major role in Michigan’s recent recruiting success. The Wolverines gained enough momentum to climb to the No. 1 spot in the national team rankings for the 2024 class, a title they still hold following their 17th hard commit, which came last night.

Jordan Marshall is a 6-foot, 190-pound running back from Cincinnati, OH. He ranks as the No. 75 recruit in the nation and the No. 6 running back in his class. According to the On3 rankings, he is also one of the top three recruits in Ohio.

What are his future plans with NIL money?

According to Jordan Marshall himself, he has very unselfish plans for his future NIL money while at the University of Michigan. Marshall is not interested in spending his earnings; instead, he wants to save it up and use it to help his mother.

“It would be more just saving it and helping my mom out,” he told On3. “That’s what’s important to me right now. Letting her be stable and getting her some more things. Letting her be able to travel the world.”

In addition to his wholesome plans with NIL money, Marshall also insists that NIL was never a factor in his decision to play for Michigan football. In fact, Marshall claims it was “bottom last” among the deciding factors in his recruitment to Ann Arbor.

Next fall, the Ohio Ohio Division I co-state player Offensive Player of the Year will make his debut in the Maize and Blue alongside Jadyn Davis and others. Keep the name Jordan Marshall in the back of your mind, because this Michigan football commit is going to be special on and off of the football field.
