Anyone who remotely follows college football knows that Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines are as hot as any program right now. After winning two straight Big Ten titles and constantly threatening the national championship scene with playoff appearances, the Maize and Blue have been gaining momentum on and off the field. According to one major Michigan football commit, Jacob Oden of the 2024 class, this summer is going to be huge for the Wolverines.

Major Michigan football commit claims summer will be big for the Maize and Blue

Jacob Oden is a major Michigan football commit in the 2024 recruiting class. He ranks among the nation’s top 200 in the Industry Rankings, coming in at No. 192 among recruits nationally, No. 16 among safeties in the 2024 class, and No. 4 among recruits in the state of Michigan. He has been committed to the Wolverines for quite some time now, and yesterday he sent a message to the world of college football: watch out for Jim Harbaugh and Michigan football this summer.

“Let me say this now… June and July are gonna be big months for Michigan football stay tuned,” Oden said via Twitter last night.

Jim Harbaugh’s best class yet?

The 2024 Michigan football recruiting class is shaping up to be one of the best in the country, trailing only the Georgia Bulldogs in the national composite rankings heading into the official visit season. Additionally, the Wolverines have already secured a commitment from a five-star quarterback, Jadyn Davis, and the future of the program has never seemed brighter.

If Oden’s message holds true, the Wolverines may end up among the nation’s top classes, potentially marking the best class of Jim Harbaugh’s nine-year tenure as the head coach of Michigan football. Stay tuned, Michigan football fans, because bigger and better things are still to come for the Maize and Blue.
