Michigan basketball (men’s and women’s) returned to prominence last season, and next year will come with tons of anticipation. On Wednesday the Big Ten announced each conference member’s opponents for men’s and women’s basketball. The dates and times are yet to be determined, but Michigan knows who it has on the docket.

Below is a breakdown of the Wolverines’ future opponents.

Men’s

Home: Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Rutgers, UCLA, USC, Wisconsin

Away: Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Northwestern, Oregon, Purdue, Washington

Home and Away: Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State

Michigan is coming off a season with a 27-10 (14-6 Big Ten) record, Big Ten tournament title and Sweet 16 appearance. The Wolverines had a new head coach in Dusty May, and he had to fill all but five spots on the roster. May built Michigan into a contender with transfers such as Danny Wolf, Vladislav Goldin and Tre Donaldson.

None of the aforementioned players will be a Wolverine next season, but they retooled with the No. 1 transfer portal class in the country.

The Wolverines went 23-11 (11-7 Big Ten) last season and made it to the second round of the NCAA tournament. Two freshmen guards started all 34 games for the Wolverines last season in Olivia Olson and Mila Holloway. Fellow freshman guard Syla Swords started 33, missing one game due to injury. Michigan could have the best backcourt in the country in the very near future.
