Must see: Michigan football unveils new trophy case

On Friday, Michigan football unveiled a new trophy case in Schembechler Hall, located on-campus in Ann Arbor, MI. Right now, the Wolverines’ case is packed to the brim with conference and rivalry hardware.

Michigan football decorates new trophy case

The Wolverines’ new trophy case has a heavy emphasis on the Jordan brand, displaying a large Jordan logo above the ‘Block M’ on the blue backdrop. Along with the logos, Michigan football also has a wall of Maize and Blue Jordan brand sneakers.

On each side of the case are the Wolverines’ College Football Playoff uniforms from 2021 and 2022 — the all-blue uniforms from the 2021 Orange Bowl on the left side and the traditional uniforms from the 2022 Fiesta Bowl on the right.

At the front of the case is the iconic Winged Helmet, which sits amidst a sea of awards that Michigan has won over the past two seasons.

From left to right, here are the awards Michigan football has on display:

  • George Jewett Trophy (Michigan-Northwestern) — Michigan won last meeting 33-7 (2021)
  • Michigan’s CFP appearance award from Orange Bowl (Michigan-Georgia) — Michigan lost, 34-11 (2021)
  • Paul Bunyan Trophy (Michigan-Michigan State) — Michigan won last meeting 29-7 (2022)
  • Big Ten East Division trophy (2021)
  • 2021 Big Ten Championship game trophy (Michigan beat No. 13 Iowa, 42-3)
  • 2022 Big Ten Championship game trophy (Michigan beat Purdue, 43-22)
  • Big Ten East Division trophy (2022)
  • Little Brown Jug (Michigan-Minnesota) — Michigan won last meeting, 49-24 (2020)
  • Last two scores of the Ohio State games (42-27 in 2021, 45-23 in 2022)
  • Michigan’s CFP apperance award from the Fiesta Bowl (Michigan-TCU) — Michigan lost, 51-45
  • Bussin’ with the Boys Trophy (Michigan-Nebraska) — Michigan won last meeting, 34-3
