No. 1 player in Ohio has a great visit with the Michigan Wolverines

Michigan football made a great impression with the No. 1 player in Ohio, Ryan Montgomery. According to On3, Montgomery is a four-star quarterback in the 2025 class, and is ranked as the No. 47 player in the nation, the No. 4 quarterback, and the No. 1 player in Ohio — Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, and Georgia are currently in his top four, with the Wolverines and Buckeyes battling it out in his top-2 (per the Recruiting Prediction Machine).

Here is what Montgomery had to say According to Brice Marich of 247 Sports:

“The visit was great,” the No. 1 player in Ohio said. “I always enjoy getting back up to Ann Arbor. I loved watching practice and the players really get after it. I got to sit down with Coach Campbell and talk ball for awhile and we got dinner after, so I really loved it. I think Coach Campbell and I clicked instantly. I loved how he coached during practice and how passionate he is about this game. He coaches at a super high level and I respect his philosophies of the quarterback position.”

When asked about what stood out about Michigan football, Montgomery said, “How physical and fast the team practiced and the amount of time I got to spend with Coach Campbell.”
