Welcome back to On Stadium Blvd! We have a very exciting episode today, as we have a special guest for you guys. We are bringing in former Michigan and current Philadelphia Stars DB Channing Stribling!
Channing Stribling came to Michigan in 2013 and played through the 2016 season. He was one of the best cornerbacks for Michigan in the Harbaugh era and was a key contributor to that elite defense in 2016.
After Channing graduated from Michigan, he pursued a career in professional football. He bounced around a few NFL teams and ultimately landed on the Philadelphia Stars of the newly founded USFL. He has excelled there, leading the league in interceptions in their first year. This accomplishment earned him an All-USFL selection, and the Stars appeared in the inaugural USFL Championship game, with Stribling being a pivotal piece to that team.
In this special episode, Lexi, Josh, and JD interview Stribling and have a great conversation about his current career and his time at Michigan. They ask about the level of play in the USFL, his experience playing in the championship game, and his overall time in the league. After that, Lexi, Josh, and JD ask about his time at Michigan! They ask about his recruitment process, why he chose Michigan, the transition from Brady Hoke to Jim Harbaugh, funny memories from his time at Michigan, and much more!
We were very honored to have Channing Stribling on as our guest, and we hope that you guys enjoyed us talking to him! We were very excited to have a former player on the show, and the conversation was incredible. Thank you for your continued support and for listening to this special episode of On Stadium Blvd!
