Michigan softball (18-7) finished 10-1 at The Raleigh Times this weekend after sweeping both doubleheaders Friday and Saturday. The Wolverines played their 11 games over the span of nine days, beginning on Feb. 28. Michigan ended the trip on a four-game win streak, outscoring opponents 37-2 in the process.

The game may have been five innings, but freshman pitcher Kat Meyers threw a perfect game in her first collegiate start. She put down 15 batters and recorded six strikeouts.

Michigan has seven batters hitting over .275, and five batting over .310. Sophomore pitcher Erin Hoehn earned her tenth win (10-2) on Saturday against UNC Greensboro. Hoehn leads the team in the win category, but senior hurler Lauren Derkowski still holds the best ERA (2.15) and WHIP (.92). Derkowski has also pitched eight complete games, and the rest of the staff has thrown one (Meyers).
