Miami Dolphins Sign Offensive Lineman Josh Priebe as Undrafted Free Agent

Joining first round draft pick, Kenneth Grant, in Miami is offensive lineman Josh Priebe, who signed with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent upon the close of the NFL draft. Priebe was a graduate transfer this past season, who came to Ann Arbor from Northwestern.

Impressed by the Wolverines’ performance in the 2023 season, Priebe transferred to fill a need on the offensive line after a handful of key lineman went to the NFL. Though he did not receive an invite to the NFL scouting combine, Priebe was an integral piece of the offensive line this season, starting at left tackle in all 13 games.

Josh Priebe Boasts a Breadth of Talent and Leadership

Prior to Michigan, Priebe was a team captain and a four-time letter winner at Northwestern, appearing in 36 games with 29 starts. Sherrone Moore’s Wolverines welcomed him to their squad, where he certainly made an impact, both on and off the field.

Priebe was a semi-finalist for the William V. Campbell trophy, often considered the ‘academic Heisman,’ and was named a third team All-Big Ten selection for his efforts in the 2024 season. He was also a co-recipient of the Dierdorf-Hutchinson Award, awarded to the top offensive lineman at Michigan each year.

Though his statistics on paper may not speak to his vast capabilities on the line, make no mistake, Josh Priebe is an impact player through and through. It may be a grind for him to make his talents known in Miami, but given his past success and perseverance, it shouldn’t be anything he can’t handle.
