Brenda Tracy reveals new detail in regard to Mel Tucker news
On Sunday morning — around 1:00 AM (EST) — a story was published by ESPN in regards to the stunning Mel Tucker news. Tucker, a 4th-year head coach for the Michigan State Spartans, is being investigated for the sexual harassment of rape survivor and sexual assault advocate Brenda Tracy. While Tracy’s identity was initially unknown, it was revealed shortly after the initial stories dropped. According to Tracy, she voluntarily shared information with USA Today due to behavior and statements from Mel Tucker and his lawyer.
Yesterday, Brenda Tracy took to Twitter (now known as ‘X’) to break down how this was an unfortunate series of events. According to Tracy, since everything began in 2022, she wanted nothing to do with the media being involved. The USA Today story, which lists Tracy by name, was published due to her identity being revealed in the early morning hours last Sunday. Below is her full statement.
Ohio State officially names a starting quarterback
Two weeks into the 2023 season, Ohio State is yet to look very good on the offensive side of the football. The Buckeyes put up 23 points against Indiana in Week 1 and 35 points on Youngstown State (FCS) in Week 2. Still, Ryan Day says that his Buckeyes have a starting quarterback: Kyle McCord.
“Just the overall consistency that I think he’s been playing with,” Day said when naming McCord as the full-time QB yesterday. “He made some nice throws, he kept the offense going, he came out of the gates playing efficient football. That’s what we’re going to look for moving forward. But I would just say overall, consistency.”
