Michigan football star defensive tackle Mason Graham, who has been a major asset for the Wolverines’ No. 1-ranked defense so far this year, was just officially ruled out for today’s game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. This is the first time this fall that Graham will not see the field for the Wolverines, making things a bit tougher on the defense as Michigan opens Big Ten play this afternoon.
Michigan football star Mason Graham ruled out for matchup vs. Rutgers
Michigan football is slated to kick off Big Ten play today against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, and while the Wolverines’ defense remains in good hands, the team will be without its star defensive tackle.
Graham is a leader on the team this year and has made a massive impact on the Michigan football defense so far, so this is a very notable storyline to follow throughout the day, seeing as he is a new face on the injury report.
So far this year, Michigan football star defensive lineman Mason Graham has recorded nine tackles, two tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, and a forced fumble, helping lead the Wolverines’ impressive defense to the No. 1 spot nationally through three weeks of the season.
Michigan football will take the field against Rutgers at noon (ET) at Michigan Stadium in hopes of starting the year 4-0 overall and 1-0 in conference play. The Wolverines are currently 24-point favorites.
