Michigan defensive lineman Mason Graham (55) and defensive end Derrick Moore (8) tackle Texas running back Jaydon Blue (23) during the second half at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

Michigan football had record-setting representation at the NFL Draft in April with 13 players drafted.

According to Pro Football Focus (PFF), the Wolverines could have four players drafted in the first 11 picks of the 2025 NFL Draft. JJ McCarthy was picked 10th overall in April as the only U-M player taken in the first round.

Pick No. 4, Cincinnati Bengals: Mason Graham, DL

Mason Graham is one of the most popular names in Draft talks, earning as high as No. 1 overall projections. The Bengals have taken a Michigan player in the draft four years in a row, including defensive tackle Kris Jenkins Jr in April. The Bengals also lost defensive tackle DJ Reader this past offseason after he signed with the Detroit Lions. Graham and Jenkins could get the opportunity to attack offensive linemen side-by-side once again.

Pick No. 8, Los Angeles Rams: Will Johnson, CB

Will Johnson is projected as the first defensive back to be picked after Travis Hunter, but others have Johnson going ahead of Hunter at picks as high as No. 1 overall. The Rams drafted Josh Wallace out of the Michigan secondary in the draft earlier this year, as well as running back Blake Corum. Johnson would likely be an important part of the Rams’ defense immediately.

Pick No. 9, Arizona Cardinals: Kenneth Grant, DL

Kenneth Grant would be the third player off of the Michigan defense taken in the top ten if the mock draft pans out. Grant would have a chance to make a large impact as a rookie as Arizona lacks talent on the defensive line.

Pick No. 11, Indianapolis Colts: Colston Loveland, TE

Lastly, Colston Loveland is projected to be the only player from the Wolverine offense taken in the first round. Loveland possesses great size and athleticism, and the Colts are in need of a playmaker at the position.
