Michigan Wolverines quarterback Davis Warren (16) celebrates a 13-10 win over Ohio State Buckeyes at the end of the NCAA football game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024.

Michigan was missing two of its best players on Saturday in tight end Colston Loveland and cornerback Will Johnson. Jim Harbaugh on Michigan’s Win Over Ohio State

This was supposed to be the year Michigan lost ‘The Game’. After the Wolverines won, former head coach Jim Harbaugh had some words for his beloved alma mater.

“Great job by the Men in Blue today! Legendary achievement!”

Legendary indeed. Michigan was an underdog by over 20 points and hadn’t won a road game all season. The Wolverines had one of its worst offenses in recent memory. Additionally, the Buckeyes came in with a Big Ten title appearance on the line. It was a game in which we found out what each program is made of.

It seems Ohio State decided if it couldn’t be more physical during the game, it could be after. Michigan players were waving a flag near the middle of the field when a group of Buckeyes players and staff charged the Wolverines and tried to rip it up. OSU senior DE Jack Sawyer went after the flag, but it’s understandable given his 0-4 record against Big Blue.
