Tomorrow is the biggest day of the season for the No. 3 Wolverines thus far, as undefeated Michigan football will face the No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions in Beaver Stadium. With just three games to go on the regular-season slate, tomorrow is the start of the “real” season for the Maize and Blue. Today, the Big Ten Conference will reportedly make its call on punishment for Michigan, meaning Harbaugh could be suspended today; however, his attorney, Tom Mars, says that he is headed to State College “one way or another.”

Can Michigan football knock off Penn State and improve to 10-0 on the season heading into the Maryland game? That remains to be seen, and while the game is tomorrow, the Nittany Lions are not the priority of the program right now. Rather, keeping Jim Harbaugh on the sideline has become concern number one for fans and U-M leadership, and it sounds like we will get our answer later today.

While it sounds like the Big Ten is leaning away from a suspension, that remains to be seen as the Penn State game approaches. Still, according to Jim Harbaugh’s attorney — Tom Mars — Harbaugh is heading to Penn State regardless of how the Big Ten rules.

“I’m confident he’s going to be on that plane one way or another,” Mars said of Jim Harbaugh, per Pete Thamel.

Things could get interesting here depending on what the Big Ten Conference elects to do later today, so stay tuned, Michigan football fans.
