BOOM: Michigan football lands new running back commit
Micah Kaapana, a three-star composite running back hailing from Las Vegas, NV, is the newest addition to the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class, which now boasts 21 hard commits and counting. Reports suggest that the Wolverines effectively showcased themselves to the 5-foot-11, 195-pound RB prospect, over the past few weeks, leaving a lasting impact during his official visit to Ann Arbor last weekend.
This week, there was a notable increase in crystal ball predictions favoring Michigan football’s chances of securing Micah Kaapana. While the Wolverines have already received a commitment from running back Jordan Marshall from Ohio, adding Kaapana is yet another weapon for the Wolverines’ future offense, which should continue to extend Michigan’s national title window.
Despite concerns from some fans regarding Kaapana’s three-star rating, the coaching staff has expressed their enthusiasm for his skill set. Today’s new commitment is a reason for excitement in Ann Arbor as the Wolverines continue to dominate the recruiting scene over the summer.
