Even though Michigan football running back Blake Corum thinks that NIL does not matter as much as many other factors at the University of Michigan (which he said at Big Ten Media Days), Corum is still on the forefront of a lot of new deals and news. Recently, it was reported that Celcius Energy — a sports drink company — is expanding into the world of college football, leading to major NIL news for the Wolverines’ Heisman Trophy contender.

Major NIL movement for Michigan football running back Blake Corum

Last year, Michigan football running back Blake Corum rushed his way into school record books, assisting the Wolverines to a perfect record, before going down in Week 12 with a knee injury. Corum is a superstar on the field for Michigan, and he isn’t doing too bad off the field, either.

Celcius Energy, one of the fastest-growing energy/sports drinks in the country, is officially expanding into the world of NIL, and is reportedly set to work with college football superstars such as Bo Nix (Oregon, quarterback), Blake Corum (Michigan, running back), and more.

Corum, Nix, and others will be profiting off of brand endorsement deals that will be a part of a social campaign designed to increase the brand’s visibility — this is nothing new for Michigan football running back Blake Corum, who is listed as having a brand evaluation of over $1 million, per the On3 NIL valuation rankings.
