Michigan football has a new head of the table on offense in offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Chip Lindsey. With spring ball in full swing, players can begin to get a feel for what kind of coach Lindsey is, and what his offense will look like.
Senior fullback and tight end Max Bredeson talked about what Lindsey has shown so far.

One of Michigan’s mottos is “leaders and best”. As the new head of the table for the Wolverines’ offense, Lindsey has already displayed he can take charge of the unit.
“Coach Lindsey’s been awesome. Unbelievable start,” Bredeson said last week. “He takes full control of the room and we’re happy to have him. He’s really doing a great job and he’s going to be fun to play for.”
Michigan was in its first full day of pads on Saturday, and its second day is Tuesday. Although it might be too early to tell what the team will look like in the fall, Bredeson said the spring is a prime opportunity to see what guys are made of.
“Spring is a great time to see what everybody’s about,” Bredeson said. “It’s about seeing what the team looks like, so it’s hard to put exact labels on something in the spring, but the biggest goal is to kind of feel out what it’s going to look like and what we can build from there.”
By the time the spring game rolls around (April 19), the Wolverines will likely have a better sense of what they have and how they can use it.
