Michigan basketball adds 2025 small forward Patrick Liburd

The Wolverines now have four players coming into the program from the prep level next season

2025 small forward Patrick Liburd committed to Michigan basketball Friday. The 6-foot-6, 180-pounder is coming out of Sagemont Prep (Fort Lauderdale, FL), and was originally committed to Coastal Carolina before reopening his recruitment on May 7.

Liburd is the fourth member of the Wolverines’ class of 2025, joining guards Trey McKenney, Winters Grady and Oscar Goodman.

Liburd is unranked on ESPN, On3 and Rivals. 247Sports grades him as a three-star prospect, as well as the No. 56 small forward in the country and No. 23 player in Florida.

Liburd is a two-time state champion (Class 1A) and was recently named Broward County Player of the Year. In the state final game a few months ago, he put up 29 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
