Michigan Football Hosting Flip Targets for MSU Game

The Wolverines are trying to get these guys in Ann Arbor

Belleville's Elijah Dotson celebrates after making an interception against Clarkston during the 2024 Xenith Prep Kickoff Classic at Wayne State's Tom Adams in Detroit on Friday, Aug. 30, 2024.

Michigan football will have more than just a rivalry game on the line this weekend. The Wolverines will have multiple 2025 commits on the sidelines, including five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola. Michigan will also be hosting a group of flip targets, and one of them has a short drive to the Big House.

Meet the Four Flip Targets

Despite its struggles as a team, Michigan has one of the best defensive lines in the country. The Wolverines could add two three-star defensive lineman in Benny Patterson III and Quante Gillians, as both will be on site for the MSU game. Patterson is committed to Cincinnati and Gillians is supposed to be at Syracuse next season.

Four-star athlete Elijah Dotson (Belleville, MI) committed to Pittsburgh in May, but he will be with Michigan this weekend as well. Dotson mostly gets recognized for his play at defensive back, but he’s also one of the best high school wide receivers in the Mitten. Dotson’s quarterback is No. 1 recruit Bryce Underwood, so if Dotson ends up flipping, Michigan could be on its way to an explosive offseason

Lastly, Michigan is expecting four-star linebacker Bradley Gompers (Duke commit) to be on the sidelines against MSU. Gompers has the size to play inside linebacker at any level.
