We knew coming into the weekend it was going to be an important one for Michigan football on the recruiting trail. There are 17 official visitors on campus and it looks like at least two have committed already.

Earlier on Saturday afternoon, Sherrone Moore, the Michigan football head coach, posted the eyeball emoji and the #GoBlue. Moore has made that post recently ahead of commitments for Jaylen Williams, Brady Hart, and Kainoa Winston.

Moore followed up that post, with another just recently, with two eyeball emojis — making me think that the Wolverines have landed two commitments already this weekend.

Michigan football is on commitment watch but with who?

The Wolverines have been trending as the favorite in six different recruitments in the 2025 class. Five of those recruits are on campus this weekend for official visits.

That doesn’t even count guys like Andrew Marsh or Andrew Olesh. They are both among the top-10 recruits at their positions and Michigan football feels like the leader going into the weekend, however, U-M has gotten expert projections or crystal balls for Kayden Strayhorn (3-star OL), Chase Taylor (3-star LB), Maxwell Roy (4-star DL), 4-star WR Taz Williams, and Hardy Watts (4-star OL).

They are all on official visits this weekend and I could see any of them committing this weekend. I haven’t seen anything from position coaches which can also be a hint. However, I do know this: Moore is making these posts for a reason and we’ll find out soon enough who the new Michigan football commitments are.
