After Michigan football destroyed UNLV at the Big House, JJ McCarthy gave us more on his impressive 47-yard touchdown pass to Roman Wilson.

“From the get-go, I knew we’re gonna have a good play because it looked like they were playing their tight quarters or cover 0, one of the two,” Michigan football quarterback JJ McCarthy explained. “And I just wanted to get a hard heavy run action and turned around and saw I was a little bit pressure to the right, so I slid a little bit — I was going to throw it back across the field to six, but I was like ‘Not today. Those days are kind of over.’ Then I saw Roman get a little bit of separation and stepped up and just gave it to him. I didn’t hear that (it was a) 47-yard touchdown until I just walked down this hallway, and I was just like, ‘Damn.’ If that’s not God, I don’t know what is, seriously.”
