EA Sports released the top-ranked players in “College Football 25” and Michigan football was ranked as the No. 1 overall player.

The 6-foot-3 cornerback, who has also been projected as the No. 3 overall pick in a recent mock draft, is a 96 overall. The star cornerback is joined by another Michigan football standout — Mason Graham, who comes in at No. 8 overall in the game among players with a rating of 95.

After watching Donovan Edwards play the game earlier this week when EA Sports released some extended gameplay, you could see how awesome Mason Graham is as he forced a fumble on a sack. He was also given a special status for his interior pass rush ability.

Five Michigan football players total ranked in the top 100

Ohio State and Georgia were the other teams to have multiple players ranked in the top 10. Colston Loveland owns the distinction as the top-rated offensive player for Michigan football. He’s ranked as a 92 and is 33rd overall.

Kenneth Grant and Donovan Edwards, who is on the cover of the game along with Travis Hunter and Quinn Ewers, are rated as 91s. Edwards is No. 49 overall, while Grant is 55th.

Those rankings are realistic. Johnson and Graham are the best players on the Michigan football team, while Loveland and Edwards are clearly the top guys on offense. I could make an argument that Derrick Moore will be a top-100 player this season. I think Makari Paige will be too.

The game comes out on July 16th for those who ordered the MVP Edition, while the regular edition will come out on July 19th.
