Michigan tight end Colston Loveland (18) celebrates a touchdown against Michigan State during the first half at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024.

Over the past decade Michigan football has repeatedly had success with tight ends. Whether it was Jake Butt, or most recently Colston Loveland, the Wolverines have consistently produced NFL quality talent at the position. On Tuesday night, Pine View High (Saint George, UT) tight end Brock Harris received a hometown visit from the maize and blue.

But how good is he?

2026 No. 3 TE Brock Harris receives visit from Michigan

Harris is listed at 6-foot-6 and 240 pounds, and last season he posted 41 catches for 527 yards and 9 touchdowns. Per On3’s industry ranking, he is the No. 3 TE in the country and No. 49 player overall.

Obviously, Harris has size, but he also has a solid set of hands. Additionally, he shows prowess in the running game as a blocker, which fits right into the culture at Michigan. His route running doesn’t stick out the most on film, but his size, speed and athleticism were enough to get him open.

If Harris ends up donning the winged helmet, he could develop into one of the next great tight ends to wear it.
