It’s interesting how much Ohio State players, coaches, and fans, believe they should beat Michigan football. Just listen to them talk about how much better they are, even after three straight losses by an average of 14 points.

You would think Ohio State would eat some humble pie at some point. But after not having a lead against Michigan football in nearly the last six quarters of game action, Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka still believes the Buckeyes had/have more talent.

After saying Ohio State “would find a way to bounce back” against Michigan football, the wideout said this: “It doesn’t matter if they don’t have the talent, per se, and we do have the talent. It’s going to be a hard game every year.”

Michigan football has nine more draft picks than Ohio State in last four years

There is a perception that Ohio State has more talent, which is based on recruiting rankings. However, in the past four years, Michigan football has produced 35 NFL draft picks compared to 26 for Ohio State.

In that same time period, the Wolverines have had 17 players drafted in the top 100 of the NFL draft, while Ohio State is at 14. So Michigan had better players and the better head coach and people are still saying their 3-0 record was achieved by cheating?

Ohio State, as in the entire program, is stuck in delusion. But when your head coach can’t deal with the reality of the past three seasons and the domination at the hands of Michigan football, it’s hard to blame players for believing some of the same nonsense.
