Earlier this summer, it was reported that the NCAA was looking to suspend 9th-year Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh for four games of the 2023 season. This was due to the Level 2 infractions during the COVID-19 dead period, as well as a newer Level 1 violation, which was only brought about earlier this year. Today, it was reported that Harbaugh is likely going to get off scot-free for the 2023 season, and the matter will be revisited down the road in 2024. Here is what social media is saying about it.

Harbaugh vs. the NCAA is comedically messy

Regardless of what side of the fence you’re standing on when it comes to Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh, one thing that we can all agree on is that this whole thing has been messy… really messy. The NCAA has been trying to flex its (non-existent) muscle here, shortly after letting Tennessee off for 200+ more violations than the Wolverines currently are facing.

Regardless, it all is getting one step closer to working itself out. This feels like the NCAA and Michigan football kicking the can down the road since the 2023 season is just three weeks away — let it be a distraction next offseason, not when the games are about to start.
