Michigan football is hard at work with the 2026 recruiting class, and earlier this month it hit the road. The Wolverines extended an offer to three-star American Heritage High (Plantation, Fla.) wide receiver Jeffar Jean-Noel on Jan. 10. On3 has him ranked No. 101 among players in the state of Florida.

Jean-Noel stands at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds. He told On3 ($) that he thinks Michigan wide receiver coach Ron Bellamy could help him improve.

“He’s a good coach,” Jean-Noel said. “I feel like if I go there, he can develop me into being a better receiver than I am today. He has a lot of energy. I feel like he’s a good person. He likes that I’m playmaker.”

The Wolverines typically focus on running the ball, so receivers know they’ll have to get involved in blocking. Jean-Noel said there’s no limits to his game.

“(Bellamy) told me about their pro-style offense,” Jean-Noel said. “I think I can fit. I feel like I’m all around receiver. I can block a linebacker if I have to. But when the ball touches my hands, I’m going to score and help the team win football games.”

Jean-Noel is also being recruited by Kentucky, Louisville, Miami and others. He hasn’t visited Ann Arbor yet, but he said he wants to get a closer look in the near future.

“I’m probably going to go up there in the spring,” Jean-Noel said. “I want to watch them practice and how they go about their day. I want to learn more about their culture and see if they have a brotherhood. Also, I want to tour the campus.”
