There is no denying the fact that Michigan football has some serious momentum on the recruiting trail and it looks like that will only continue after the Wolverines started trending for a pair of elite 2025 targets.

Michigan football has been gaining momentum with four-star wideout Andrew Marsh, who is ranked 48th overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He took an unofficial visit to Ann Arbor earlier this month and his return for an official visit was a good omen.

Now, EJ Holland of The Wolverine and Steve Wiltfong, the most respected recruiting analyst in the industry, have logged expert projections for the Wolverines to land Marsh.

That gives Michigan football a 76-percent chance according to the On3 prediction machine of landing the 6-foot-1, 175-pound wideout out of Katy, Texas who caught 11 touchdowns last season.

Marsh would be a game-changer for the 2025 class. He would be the best wideout Michigan has landed since the days of Nico Collins and Donovan People-Jones. However, the prediction for U-M to land him wasn’t the only positive to come out of Victors Weekend.

Another elite 2025 recruit projected to Michigan football

Outside of Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore teasing some commitments on Saturday, the Wolverines started trending to land a blue-chip running back.

Yet, in even bigger news, Michigan has been projected by Holland and Wiltfong to land four-star tight end Andrew Olesh. The 6-foot-5, 212-pound tight end from Pennslyvania just visited Penn State but there was some positive buzz going into the weekend for the Wolverines and now, they are trending toward a commitment.

Olesh is ranked 130th overall according to the 247 Sports composite rankings. He’s also ranked fourth among tight ends and after watching Michigan send tight ends to the NFL draft in back-to-back years in addition to Colston Loveland, who is projected as a first-round pick in 2025, you can see why Olesh would be interested.

Of course, expert projections aren’t commitments. But these are positive signs things are headed in that direction and if the Wolverines land Marsh and Olesh, that would take this recruiting class to a whole new level.

Guess recruits aren’t worried about “the hammer” after all, are they?
