Michigan Wolverines football has claimed back-to-back dominant wins over the Ohio State Buckeyes in a massive twist to the greatest rivalry in sports history. For the Maize and Blue, they could make it three in a row against their biggest foe during the coming college football season; during Week 13, Ohio State will make the trip to Ann Arbor to face what could be Jim Harbaugh’s best Michigan team yet. According to the newest betting spread, the Wolverines are currently favored to take home another win over Ryan Day’s Buckeyes.

Michigan Wolverines football favored to beat Ohio State once again

The 2021 Michigan football vs. Ohio State matchup was a huge turning point for both teams. Michigan’s 42-27 victory in ‘The Big House’ was the Wolverines’ first since 2011 and vaulted Michigan into its first-ever Big Ten Championship Game, which the Wolverines won 42-3. The Ohio State win, coupled with Michigan’s first conference title since 2004, sent the program to its first College Football Playoff appearance.

Last fall, Michigan football did it all over again, beating Ohio State 45-23 in Columbus before cruising to another conference title and CFP appearance. This season, Michigan could make it three in a row with another win over Ryan Day’s squad — the Wolverines appear poised to do so and will get the Buckeyes at home this fall.

In the most recent betting spread for Michigan football against the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Maize and Blue remain favored, though not by much. Michigan will open the season as a 1.5-point favorite to knock off the Scarlet and Grey once more en route to what will likely be another Big Ten East title, so long as Michigan can handle its business throughout the rest of its 12-game regular season slate.
