After falling just short a season ago, Blake Corum and the Wolverines are coming for it all in 2023.

This fall, few programs (if any) around the nation have the expectations that Michigan football does. Last month, Michigan running back Blake Corum announced that he will be returning for the 2023 season, a massive move for the Wolverines that could secure a third-straight Big Ten title and more for Michigan this fall.

At the Crisler Center for Michigan’s win over Nebraska last night, Blake Corum (among others) was invited to speak at halftime. When given the opportunity, the Wolverines’ All-American had some bold predictions for Michigan’s 2023 campaign:

“Man, it feels good to be back!” Corum said. “We’re gonna win the National Championship and go down in history. That’s all I got. Go Blue!”

Blake Corum, like many Michigan football fans, is eager to get back on the field this fall and show the nation just how good the 2023 Wolverines are.

Blake Corum’s prediction could come true

Undoubtedly, 2023 will be Jim Harbaugh’s best shot at a National title as the Wolverines’ head coach. Michigan football returns more production than anyone in the Big Ten (81%) despite sending a conference-high nine players to the NFL Combine after 2022.

Additionally, Harbaugh has made some massive hires as of late, landed in an insanely talented transfer portal class, and signed a solid freshman class to pair.

As we turn the page from Michigan’s 13-1 season in 2022 to the 2023 season this fall, we could see Blake Corum’s bold prediction come true. As Blake Corum accurately stated, Michigan is coming for it all this year; the Wolverines are in a great position to bring a National Championship to Ann Arbor for the first time since 1997.
