Jeremiah Beasley has been a top-priority Michigan football recruiting target for quite some time, and this evening, the Wolverines officially secured his commitment for the 2024 cycle. Michigan now boasts 24 hard commits heading into the month of July, solidifying their position as the No. 3 overall class in the nation. Despite a significant effort from the Michigan State Spartans and other teams, Jim Harbaugh and his Wolverines ultimately emerged as the victors, further establishing the Maize and Blue as a premier program in both the state and the nation.

Michigan football recruiting lands Jeremiah Beasley in 2024 recruiting class

This evening, Michigan football secured their 24th hard commitment of the cycle, and the addition of Jeremiah Beasley holds significant importance for the Wolverines. Michigan recently faced disappointments in missing out on top-ranked linebacker edge rusher targets, notably Aaron Chiles, who committed to Florida. Consequently, Beasley’s commitment carries even greater value for the Maize and Blue.

Despite initially being strongly considered a favorite for Mel Tucker and the Michigan State Spartans, Jim Harbaugh managed to establish a foothold in the recruitment process a few months ago and has been gaining considerable momentum on the recruiting trail ever since. In recent times, Michigan football started receiving numerous crystal ball predictions and insider reports favoring their chances of landing Beasley, all of which proved true this evening.

According to the 247 Sports rankings, Beasley is a four-star linebacker from Belleville High School, located approximately 25 minutes from Ann Arbor. He is ranked as the No. 237 player in the nation, the No. 25 linebacker in the 2024 recruiting class, and the No. 5 recruit in the state of Michigan. This victory for the Wolverines heading into July is monumental and has the potential to create a snowball effect, further bolstering the momentum in favor of the Maize and Blue.
