Elite Michigan football duo does not lack any confidence

The Wolverines are just 20 days from kicking off their 2023 campaign, which holds College Football Playoff and national title-caliber expectations for the Maize and Blue. Ahead of the coming season, it is clear that running backs Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum, who form an elite Michigan football duo, are as confident as ever in the product they are about to put on the field this fall.

Elite Michigan football duo does not lack confidence whatsoever

Recently, a few Wolverines appeared on the ‘Bussin with the Boys’ podcast, which is co-hosted by Taylor Lewan, a former Wolverine. When introducing Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards, Lewan said this elite Michigan football duo is “maybe” the best RB duo in the country. Without hesitation, both Wolverine stars jumped on Lewan for questioning who is the best 1-2 punch in the country.

“Maybe?” both Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum asked in sync. Edwards continued, “That’s cool. I’ll be the first to say he’ll agree: How are we, not the best? When we both rushed for more than anybody else as a duo in the country. We’re going to speak it.”

Blake Corum then doubled down on Edwards’ statements. “We keep it real, we’re gonna state the facts,” he said.

Donovan Edwards, one of the most vocal and confident players in college football today, picked right back up where he left off, stating, “We’re not going to be apologetic, either. Let’s speak the facts. If we had the same conversation last year, what does that mean going into the next year with the same two players? Ok then.”

This elite Michigan football duo is clearly in store for huge things this season and has the confidence to break records for the Wolverines throughout the coming months.
