Recently, the latest edition of the ‘Rivals 250’ was released, revealing that five-star Michigan football commit Jadyn Davis has dropped several spots in the updated rankings. While he remains a five-star prospect and is still considered one of the top 20 recruits in the country, he has fallen out of the top 10 and has limited margin to maintain his position among the nation’s top 20 prospects. It is worth noting that he is still ranked higher than CJ Carr from Notre Dame and Air Noland from Ohio State.
Five-star Michigan football commit Jadyn Davis falls in newest Rivals 250 rankings
Previously, five-star Michigan football commit Jadyn Davis ranked among the nation’s top 10 recruits, coming in at No. 10 nationally and ranking as one of the nation’s top quarterback commits. Now, things appear to be a bit different as the Wolverines’ prized five-star is now hardly in the top 20 after dropping ten spots in the newest rankings.
Still, despite this newfound plummet in the rankings, Davis finds himself rated as a five-star quarterback recruit as he heads into the Elite 11 finals competition alongside some of the nation’s top quarterbacks. Notably, Davis (Michigan) is competing against fellow Big Ten East prospects Air Noland (Ohio State) and Ethan Grunkemeyer (Penn State) in the Elite 11 finals.
According to the new Rivals rankings, Jadyn Davis is a five-star Michigan football commit and ranks as the No. 20 recruit in the nation, the No. 3 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class, and the No. 1 recruit in North Carolina. These rankings are not too different from the 247 Sports rankings, which place Davis as the No. 29 recruit nationally, the No. 2 quarterback in the class, and the No. 1 recruit in his home state.
