Throughout the week, Jadyn Davis, a five-star quarterback commit for the Michigan football team and the crown jewel of their 2024 recruiting class, has been participating in the Elite 11 skills competition finals in LA.

Reports about Davis’s performance were mixed throughout the week, but he made an impression with an impressive showing in the 7-on-7 drills yesterday. However, he narrowly missed out on a top-five finish in the final rankings.

Michigan football commit Jadyn Davis, a five-star quarterback who is expected to succeed JJ McCarthy in the coming years, had a solid week in LA at the Elite 11 finals. Davis, who also expressed his love for Michigan and more throughout the week, finished at No. 6 in the Elite 11’s official final rankings. However, ON3 excluded Davis from their list of top performers, and there were mixed reviews about his performance in certain drills.

That being said, Jadyn Davis managed to shine brightly last night in the 7-on-7 drills, an area where other top-ranked quarterbacks, such as CJ Carr (Notre Dame), seemed to struggle.

It is worth noting that despite losing his status as a composite five-star heading into the week, Jadyn Davis held his own against some of the nation’s best throughout the week before returning home this weekend. Additionally, Davis’s No. 6 final ranking places him ahead of Ethan Grunkemeyer (Penn State) but below Air Noland (Ohio State).
