Michigan football has an interesting relationship with the world of NIL — the Wolverines are slowly becoming one of the top programs, putting themselves in a great position to succeed in the future.

This weekend is race weekend for NASCAR in Chicago, IL. As such, the infamous American racing brand inked a new NIL deal with prominent Michigan football star running back, Donovan Edwards, who has been promoting NASCAR on his social media ahead of the weekend. According to ON3, this is Edwards’ third NIL deal of the year and his fifth since last June.

Heading into the 2023 season, Michigan football and Donovan Edwards will be looking to maintain their recent on-field and off-field success, pursuing another Big Ten title, College Football Playoff appearance, and more. The Maize and Blue are clearly thriving on the field as well as in the world of NIL and beyond.
