Today, Cutter Boley, an elite quarterback recruit in the 2025 recruiting class, revealed the top 10 schools that remain in contention for his commitment. Among his preferred choices is Michigan football, one of the two remaining Big Ten schools in the running, alongside the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Boley is highly sought-after nationwide due to his impressive physical attributes and exceptional talent. Although the Wolverines have already secured a five-star QB for the 2024 class in Jadyn Davis, they are still in need of a quarterback for the 2025 season. While Bryce Underwood, the nation’s top-ranked recruit, is among the candidates being considered for this role, Cutter Boley would also be a great fit for Michigan’s 2025 quarterback position.

Cutter Boley, an impressive 6-foot-5 quarterback weighing over 200 pounds, is a standout player from Lexington Christian Academy in Kentucky. With his exceptional size and remarkable talent, Boley has become one of the most sought-after quarterback recruits in the nation.

Recently, Boley announced the final 10 schools that are in contention for his commitment, and Michigan football has successfully secured a spot on that list. Penn State also found themselves among his top 10 this afternoon though both appear to be behind some stout SEC competition in the race for his commitment.

Who else is in the running?

Apart from Michigan football and Penn State, Boley is still considering offers from Alabama, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee, TCU, and Oregon. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine currently favors Kentucky as the front-runner, but Penn State, Michigan, and Tennessee still hold significance in Boley’s decision-making process.

Cutter Boley ranked among the nation’s best

Boley’s composite rankings designate him as a highly regarded four-star quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class. He is positioned at No. 72 nationally, ranking as the sixth-best quarterback in the country, and is esteemed as the top recruit in his home state of Kentucky. The Wolverines’ inclusion in Boley’s top 10 represents a positive development in their recruiting efforts, though again, Boley is just one of many potential 2025 quarterbacks that Michigan football is looking at right now.

Although making the top 10 does not guarantee a commitment, it serves as another step forward in Jim Harbaugh’s Maize and Blue recruiting campaign, which has been generating considerable attention on a national scale recently, seeing as the Wolverines’ 2024 class is ranked No. 1, and the 2025 class is ranked in the top-5.
