Over the weekend, Michigan football star defender Mike Sainristil hauled in an impressive pick-6, which gave the Wolverines a 24-7 lead over Rutgers and changed the tempo of the game for good. From there, the Wolverines added another score, finishing the game with a 24-point victory over the Scarlet Knights all said and done. Mike Sainristil acts as a glue for this year’s defense, holding the team together both on the field and off the field. On Saturday, against Rutgers, his impact was evident — his pick-6 gave Michigan football momentum and ultimately led to a blowout win in the team’s Big Ten opener.

Following the game, the M Den inked a new NIL deal with the Michigan football star defender and released 100 autographed trading cards, which featured images from his incredible touchdown play against the Scarlet Knights.

“I read the play. Made a great play on it,” Michigan football star Mike Sainristil said of his interception after the win. “And the rest of the defense helped lead me into that end zone.”
