This week, Jordan Marshall, a four-star running back from Ohio and a commit to the Michigan Wolverines football team, witnessed a significant rise in the latest edition of the Rivals 250 rankings. These rankings provide a comprehensive list of the top 250 recruits in the nation and enjoy widespread national recognition. Here is all the information you need to know about Jordan Marshall and his impressive new elite ranking.

Top Michigan Wolverines commit Jordan Marshall jumps past Taylor Tatum in new rankings; now ranks among the nation’s top 45.

Everyone is raving about how the 2024 Michigan football recruiting class is shaping up to be elite, and rightfully so. This week, Jordan Marshall earned a new ranking, now coming in at No. 45 nationally in the new Rivals 250 rankings. This is a ten-spot jump for Marshall, who is now ranked above Taylor Tatum, another top target for the Maize and Blue.

Considering the challenges in recruiting Taylor Tatum, the No. 1 running back recruit according to 247, this is a great sign for the Michigan Wolverines.

Jordan Marshall is one of the most important commits for the future of the Michigan Wolverines football program. Jim Harbaugh managed to beat out Ohio State for Marshall’s commitment, marking the first time that the Wolverines have secured a top Buckeye target from Ohio in quite some time. With Marshall now breaking into the top 45 nationally, this victory is even sweeter for the Maize and Blue, who currently boast the country’s second-best recruiting class, yet still come in above Ryan Day and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

According to the new rankings (Rivals), Jordan Marshall is a four-star running back recruit in the 2024 class, ranked as the No. 45 recruit in the country, the No. 2 running back in the class, and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Ohio.
