Despite all the cries of cheating, Michigan football has won three consecutive games over the Buckeyes, a reality that Ohio State fans have difficulty accepting.

At any rate, Buckeye fans have been pointing to the next matchup in November. That’s when everything will get set right. Of course, Ohio State fans said the same thing before ‘The Game’ in 2022 and 2023.

Vegas oddsmakers tend to agree though. Right now, with questions surrounding the Michigan football quarterback position, the Buckeyes are listed as a 10-point favorite going into ‘The Game’ in Columbus.

It’s hard to argue too much. Ohio State is projected to be one of the top teams in college football. Ohio State has a quarterback who has won a conference title game before, even though Will Howard wouldn’t be starting if he still played for Kansas State.

Michigan football is an underdog in its three toughest games

Anyone looking at the Michigan football schedule can see that Texas, Oregon, and Ohio State are the three most challenging games, at least right now.

Things can change quickly once the season starts. Just look at the Wolverines in 2021. Nobody expected them to win the Big Ten or go 12-2 that season.

But Texas and Oregon are each coming to the Big House. The Longhorns are favored by five points for their Week 2 showdown against Michigan football. Oregon is favored by four points.

Michigan football is favored to beat USC by nine points at home. But if the Wolverines want to be back in the College Football Playoff, they will likely need to win one of those other three games.
