Yesterday, Michigan football star Roman Wilson made some critical plays en route to a six-point victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes — the Wolverines‘ third-straight win in “The Game.” After the game, Buckeye defensive backs coach Tim Walton (52 years old) took to Instagram to throw shade at Wilson, stating that the Wolverine isn’t tough and that he sounds stupid.

Michigan football star Roman Wilson calls the Ohio State Buckeyes soft

Roman Wilson is a senior for Michigan football, and could be done with his U-M career after the 2023 season comes to a close. However, that remains to be seen. Regardless, he is now 3-0 against Ohio State, assisting Michigan in a 42-27 win, a 45-23 win, and finally, a 30-24 win.

After the game, Roman Wilson did not hold back while talking about the Buckeyes, going on the record that Ohio State is not a tough team and that they didn’t want it like he did.

“… You want to put on the Louis V, the $1,000 outfit. (Ohio State) wants to act hard,” Roman Wilson said. “But when we’re out there, they’re not hard. I see the film — you’re not tough. And I don’t think I’m the toughest guy in the world. But I’m out there; I’m getting physical. I don’t think they wanted it like I wanted it.”

OSU coach Tim Walton responds

These comments prompted Ohio State defensive backs coach Tim Walton to fire back on Instagram. Below is what he had to say — and yes, it’s been confirmed that this is real and not photoshopped.

Ohio State coach Tim Walton can say what he wants about Michigan football star Roman Wilson, though at the end of the day, Wilson has a game to prepare for next weekend, and Walton doesn’t.
