2015 was a memorable season for Michigan football; the Wolverines were coming off of seven years of misery (with a break in 2011) and a 5-7 season the year before. 2015 was Jim Harbaugh’s first year at the helm in Ann Arbor, and while the Wolverines’ overall record was nothing too special, the feeling in the air was finally one of hopefulness.

Michigan’s season started with a touchdown loss on the road at Utah; however, the Wolverines got things back on track fairly quickly. Michigan lost a heartbreaker to Michigan State and got dominated by Ohio State, yet still finished the regular season 9-3 with a few impressive wins.

Michigan football beat No. 22 BYU 31-0, No. 13 Northwestern 38-0, and No. 19 Florida 41-7. The Wolverines’ win over Florida in the Citrus Bowl was Jim Harbaugh’s first (and only) bowl win as Michigan’s head coach and got U-M back to 10 wins for the first time since 2011.

FINAL RECORD: No. 12, 10-3 (7-2 Big Ten), win over No. 19 Florida in Citrus Bowl.
