Against Maryland last weekend, a few of the Wolverines’ starters went down with injuries. While linebacker Michael Barrett eventually returned to the game, and Sherrone Moore confirmed that LaDarius Henderson will be good to go against Ohio State this weekend, we heard a few more Michigan football injury updates on Roman Wilson, JJ McCarthy, and others during Monday’s media availability.

JJ McCarthy looked a bit off, Roman Wilson took a big shot, and a few other Wolverines went down against Maryland last weekend. With a key matchup against No. 2 Ohio State looming just a few days out, here are where things stand injury-wise with these Michigan football stars, per Sherrone Moore.

JJ McCarthy

I touched on this in more detail yesterday afternoon, but Sherrone Moore — and JJ McCarthy himself — say that the Wolverines’ QB1 is good to go against Ohio State this weekend.

“He is feeling great,” Sherrone Moore said Monday. “I actually talked to (JJ McCarthy) today and yesterday — he’s feeling the best he has felt. He’s just excited to get to work (prepping for Ohio State).”

LaDarius Henderson

Michigan football was without offensive tackle LaDarius Henderson against Maryland, and it showed. This weekend, against Ohio State, the ex-Arizona state Sun Devil is poised to return.

“(LaDarius Henderson) was working through something, he’ll be back next week,” Moore said on Saturday.

Myles Hinton and Roman Wilson

On Monday, Sherrone Moore gave a few more Michigan football injury updates, including the status of Roman Wilson and Myles Hinton.

“(They) should be good to go,” he said. “We’ll see (later this week), and we will check with doctors as well go — as far as all three (Hinton, Henderson, and Wilson).”

So, for the time being, it sounds like Michigan football is going to be as healthy as it can get this late in the year ahead of this weekend’s game against Ohio State, according to Sherrone Moore.
