Today, ex-Ohio State football superstar CJ Stroud, who went 0-2 against the Wolverines during his time as the Buckeyes’ quarterback, had a chance to chime in on the Michigan football sign-stealing news. While other Buckeyes have vocalized a bit of disappointment in the allegations, Stroud appears to be taking it in stride.

Here is what former Ohio State football quarterback CJ Stroud, a Heisman contender and two-year starter for the Buckeyes (2021-2022), said today when asked about the scandal in Ann Arbor.

“I’m not the type of person to go back, like, ‘Oh, they did that!?’ They (Michigan football) beat us. It is what it is,” CJ Stroud said. “I’m not super happy with that (the sign-stealing allegations), but I’m in the NFL now, so I’m not worried about what happened in college.

“We had an idea on, maybe, if that stuff (sign-stealing) was going on (with Michigan). But at the end of the day, it is what it is. I’m not here to go back and forth with that. I’m a (Houston) Texan now, and it is what it is — I’m not tripping.”

As the investigation into Michigan football unfolds, it’s clear that the ex-Ohio State star is not too worked up over the headlines. Again, CJ Stroud could have easily said much more about the Wolverines, as many others are right now, however, he chose to take things in stride and move on.
