Donovan Edwards discusses decision to sign with Celsius
The senior back, Edwards, provided insight on his decision to sign with Celsius in a recent interview with Fox Business. He cited positive feedback from his old running mate, Blake Corum.
“Blake did it last year, and I knew that he enjoyed the partnership. So, doing my due diligence with my representatives talking to me, it was a perfect fit,” Edwards told Fox. “I’m glad that I’m a part of the team.”
The five-star prospect in the 2021 recruiting class is expected to be one of the best running backs in the nation this season. He was one of three athletes to grace the cover of EA Sports College Football 25, which released last month.
Edwards has the second-highest NIL profile of any U-M athlete, according to ON3 Sports’ NIL valuation. Junior CB Will Johnson is the only student-athlete with a higher valuation.
