The No. 1 recruit in Ohio, Aaron Scott, will be announcing his college decision at the end of this month. He is one of the top remaining Michigan football recruiting targets in the 2024 cycle, and if the Wolverines can somehow pry him from Ryan Day’s grasp, it would perhaps be the largest recruiting win of the Jim Harbaugh era. Recently, new photos surfaced of this elite target representing the Maize and Blue ahead of his fast-approaching commitment date.

No. 1 recruit in Ohio is repping the Maize and Blue ahead of his commitment later this month

When it comes to the recruitment of four-star defensive back Aaron Scott, the No. 1 recruit in Ohio, only two teams seem remain in the running: Michigan football and Ohio State. Among these two, the Buckeyes currently maintain a lead ahead of his decision date, which is set for July 30th.

However, new photos show that Aaron Scott is still representing Michigan’s iconic Maize and Blue just two weeks before announcing his commitment. It could be insignificant, or it might indicate Scott wearing these colors for the last time before choosing Ohio State. Alternatively, the Wolverines could be making a strong push in the final stretch.

According to the On3 recruiting rankings, Aaron Scott is a four-star target in the 2024 class, ranked as the No. 29 player in the nation, the No. 4 cornerback in his class, and holds the distinction of being the No. 1 recruit in Ohio. While Ohio State currently holds a clear frontrunner status, Michigan football remains in the race and could potentially make a significant late push for his commitment just weeks before his decision.
