Jim Harbaugh is looking unstoppable on the recruiting trail right now. So far, Harbaugh has pulled a top-3 2024 recruiting class and a top-5 2025 recruiting class. This weekend, Ann Arbor will bear witness to a major 2025 Michigan football recruiting visit from four-star wide receiver Taz Williams Jr., one of the top-ranked players in Texas in the 2025 cycle.

With no more visits scheduled for Michigan football on the 2024 recruiting trail until June, the Wolverines are going to be able to throw everything they have at Williams later this week.

2025 Michigan football recruiting visit schedule for this week

On April 21st — this Friday — Michigan football will host a significant four-star wide receiver out of Red Oak High School in Red Oak, TX. Taz Williams Jr. — a Rivals four-star recruit — already has a large, 6-foot-1, 175-pound frame heading into his junior year of high school. Additionally, there is a long list of teams gunning for his commitment, including Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines, who have a massive opportunity with his recruitment at the end of this week.

Taz Williams Jr. is rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals and is ranked as the No. 111 player in the 2025 class, the No. 20 recruit in Texas, and the No. 23 wide receiver in the cycle. Right now, Michigan football has two 2025 commits; both are defensive standouts, meaning Harbaugh will likely be looking to lock down some offensive talent in the class to kick things off. Needless to say, this Friday will be a significant chance for the Wolverines to make a great impression on Taz Williams Jr. during his first-ever Michigan football recruiting visit.
