Throughout the spring, the Wolverines’ recruiting class seemingly continues to get better week by week. Today, Jim Harbaugh landed yet another significant commitment; this time, from a four-star Michigan football legacy recruit: Blake Frazier. Blake Frazier — the son of former Michigan lineman Steve Frazier, who won a national title in 1997 — is now officially committed to the Michigan Wolverines.

Michigan football legacy recruit announces commitment to the Wolverines

On Sunday, Blake Frazier announced that he is now officially committed to Michigan football. Frazier’s commitment has been anticipated for quite some time; in fact, he recently posted a major hint on his Twitter: a photo of him wearing the winged helmet. Still, having the commitment made official is an excellent feeling for Jim Harbaugh’s staff, who can now continue to pursue some of the nation’s top 2024 recruits.

According to On3, Balke Frazier is a four-star offensive tackle from Vandergrift High School in Austin, TX. Frazier is ranked as a top 300 recruit nationally (275), is the No. 27 offensive tackle in his class, and the No. 54 player in the state of Texas. Frazier chose Michigan football over a number of significant schools, including Penn State, Florida, Texas, Oregon, Clemson, LSU, USC, and many more.

With his commitment, Frazier becomes the third offensive tackle to choose Michigan football in the 2024 recruiting class thus far; he joins four-star Ben Roebuck and four-star Andrew Sprague, who both recently committed to Michigan as well.
