Over the summer, four-star edge rusher Elias Rudolph announced his pledge to the Wolverines in the 2024 recruiting class. However, earlier today, new predictions favored Miami Hurricanes football to swoop in and steal this major 2024 Michigan Wolverines football commit.

Miami Hurricanes football trending to flip major Michigan Wolverines football commit

Not too long ago, Michigan football landed four-star edge rusher Elias Rudolph in its 2024 recruiting class. Rudolph, a blue-chip prospect, is one of 28 current commits in Jim Harbaugh’s impressive 2024 cycle, ranking among the nation’s top-5.

With fall camp underway and most of the top 2024 recruiting targets off the board for the Wolverines, Michigan football recruiting efforts have yet to be highlighted as much as of late. That said, this is undoubtedly a significant development to watch if you’re a fan of the Maize and Blue.

Despite being a top Michigan Wolverines football commit, the On3 recruiting prediction machine now gives Miami Hurricanes football an 83.9 percent chance of flipping this four-star edge rusher. This drastic RPM change can be attributed to the three new insider predictions placed in favor of Miami this afternoon, making the Hurricanes a massive favorite to steal this top target from Jim Harbaugh and his Wolverines.

Per the industry rankings, Elias Rudolph is a four-star edge rusher — he ranks as the No. 25 edge in his class and is the No. 42 player in Florida.
