Today, Michigan basketball recruiting landed some huge news ahead of the 2023 season. Flory Bidunga, the No. 1 center in the country, released his top four finalists that he will choose from when the time comes. Michigan is among his top teams and could be a major player in his recruitment down the stretch.

Michigan basketball recruiting makes the top 4 for No. 1 center in the country

Flory Bidunga is one of the most sought-after recruits in the nation and is ranked as a top 5 player in the 2024 recruiting class. According to his announcement earlier today, Michigan basketball recruiting is among his top four teams and appears to be in great shape right now.

The other three teams remaining in his recruitment are the Duke Blue Devils, the Auburn Tigers, and the Kansas Jayhawks.

According to the ON3 industry recruiting rankings, Flory Bidunga is a major five-star 2024 recruit. He is ranked as one of the best players in the nation, coming in at No. 4 among 2024 prospects and No. 1 among players in the state of Indiana. Additionally, he is the No. 1 center in the country.

This 6-foot-9, 2024-class center could be a huge difference-maker for the Michigan basketball program. Seeing as Juwan Howard needs a big win right now, landing Flory Bidunga would go quite a long way for the Maize and Blue as a program.
